Docents

Each year, thousands of visitors to Fort Worth visit the Sid Richardson Museum. Docents, professionally trained volunteers who lead tours for adults and children, share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the artworks, providing a valuable service for our Fort Worth Museum.

Availability

Please Note: Training sessions are scheduled on Monday mornings between 9:00 - Noon. Thereafter, regular meetings will be held one Monday morning per month, September - May.

Please check all days and times below that you are available to volunteer for tours; the times listed are window frame time slots and should be considered as estimates only. Gallery tours will usually last between 45 - 60 minutes.

Authorization and Agreement

I authorize the verification of all statements contained in this application. If accepted in the Sid Richardson Museum Docent Program, I agree to commit to the training program followed by two-and-a-half years of service to the Museum. Continuing education opportunities will also be provided.
