STORYTELLING AT THE SID RICHARDSON MUSEUM

Saturday October 19, 2013
- 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

How do paintings inspire writing, drawing, and storytelling? Join the docents for a fun hour of hearing stories inspired by the Museum’s collection of American West art.  Each registered participant receives a storytelling inspiration kit that includes drawing materials and postcards featuring artworks from the collection so they can create their own stories at home inspired by paintings of the American West.

This is a family event (not a drop-off program), therefore at least one adult must join the child for the entire event.

  • Cost: Free.
  • Registration: Space is limited and registration is required. Click here to register now.
  • Participants:  Open to children ages 5-12 accompanied by at least one parent that stays for the entire event.
  • Contact: Kat Yount at kat@sidrichardsonmuseum.org or 817.332.6554 x123 if you have any questions.

This program is presented by the Sid Richardson Museum in partnership with the Fort Worth Public Library’s Worth Reading Program. To learn more about the Library’s year round Worth Reading Program visit: www.Wr365.org
